The Man
Behind Masamia
The story of Masamia is inseparable from that of Kyrylo Yakushev, pizzaiolo and chef who turned passion into excellence.

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of L’Aquila, he gained experience in the kitchens of major hotels and restaurants across Italy, refining his skills and creativity from north to south of the country.
​
Over time, he discovered his true vocation: baking and the art of pizza.
​
At the Gambero Rosso school he perfected his style, eventually winning the title of Italian champion of pizza in teglia.
​
His first pizzeria in Avezzano was recognized among the best in Italy by Gambero Rosso.
The Place Beyond

Today, Kyrylo brings his experience to Tenerife, creating the first authentic Pizzeria Napoletana in Puerto de la Cruz.
Masamia is not just a restaurant, but a place where Italian tradition meets the soul of the Canary Islands: delicate doughs, premium ingredients, signature cocktails and fine wines, brought together in a setting unlike any other.
